Kid Cudo to star in HBO series

Kid Cudi may be new to the world of hip-hop, but his list of talents don't stop there. The G.O.O.D Music artist will join the list of rap artists who have a S.A.G Card now that he's landed a leading role in the new HBO series 'How to Make It in America.'

"It's produced by the guys that did Entourage, Mark Wahlberg is the executive producer. It's directed by Entourage's Julian Farino. Kudi said in a recent interview. "I have a lead role. My character's name is Domingo Dean. I actually named my character after both my brothers -- Dean, who lives in Phoenix , being one of them, and Domingo."

'How To Make It In America' is centered around three ambitious 20-somethings who hustle their way through New York City determined to achieve the "American Dream," but don't expect to see Cudi's character with a mic in hand.

Look for a season premiere Nov 7th boys.
