Mormons

As most of you know, and for those who don't, I have a weirdly close relationship with a bunch of mormons from NP.  I don't know how it happened, and through this blog I hope to gain some insight into the connection I have formed with these mystic peoples.  It first started when I was leaving a basket ball game with my marine buddy Spencer in sophomore year.  He was good friends with Kerry at the time and I didn't know her at all but we bumped into her on the way out and she invited us to chill at her house.  This was way back when I had yet to even make out with a girl, drink my first alcoholic beverage, run train on parties with Lando.  This was a time when I spiked my hair, listened to The Fall Of Troy, and could barely even stand up on a wave.  Anyway, that was the first time I ever went to Kerry's house and I fell in love with it.  Deceiving from the front (other than the Porche and Rang Rover in the drive) the one story house sprawls over a huge lot.  Its the homiest home ever and the people that fill it up on a nightly basis intrigue me.  All the mormons: Ashley (Todd's girl), Nick Moller (my ex's little brother), Grayson (Ashley's older brother), Mama Jo and Russel (Kerry's mom and brother).  The raddest part about this house is that it's a sober house.  No alcohol, no drugs, just sober fun.  Billiards, movies, music, rock band, jacuzzi, pool, trampoline, food, truth or dare.  The possibilities are endless and its beautiful cause everyone isn't fucked up out of their skulls.
Mormons make their own fun.  Take the giant rubber band game for example…

They also listen to rad music. Like The Features - The Idea Of Growing Old
And they live in Utah.
You see, I have no idea why I got to be such good friends with them but I wouldn't trade it for anything.
Reilly (Kerry's friend) can draw some crazy shit...

to be continued
