It's fucking hot in Boston, and no I'm not talking about the block as a result of a little mis-hap of a graduation card from Uncle Jorge. This past monday, downtown Boston reached a high of 99. And to do it one better, my room has no AC and only a little ass portable fan. Let me tell you, it is not fun to wake up with wet sheets when you didn't even pee the bed. Nor is it radical to actually have to do laundry once a week. Or shower twice a day. Worst of all is walking too and from public transportation everyday in a button down and khaki or wool pants.
However, not everyone at 20 South Street is melting from the heat. In fact, Mitro's room as been named "the ice-box" after he convinced his grandfather to help him get an AC. Within 24 hours of his request, one of 'Granp's' homies had taken him to Costco, and the Icebox was beginning its cooldown.

The weather forecasters are predicting the East Coast heat wave is supposed to continue at least another week, and is a causing some concern about whether there will be blackouts and power outages in hospitals because of all the other iceboxes around town
Anyway, music has been making it a little more bearable, particularly on the commute to my 9-5. Here is a fresh little track called "All Summer" by none other than the hiplectic hero Cudders. It's a jam commissioned by Converse (oddly enough) and also features one of the dudes from Vampire Weekend and a chick from Best Coast. Great melody, kinda poppy-indie.
Stay cool kids, and eat a snow cone like my FRIEEENNDDD pruett.

I can't believe you haven't invested in an AC unit duncs, thats very todd like. Bring dat heat over to IV, its been foggy as all hell for the past 3 weeks, No goooot. Jorge is a very confused man, der der and I still can't wrap our heads around how that happened. Shits insane. Don't worry Aug 6 will bring jimms and goodies out to baaaassttaan. Do you think Shepard will obey his way out to IV ever? Maybe if he sees the abels vision trailer or something. ..... I actually can't even watch that anymore, kids crazy.
