UCSB SPORTS

As we all know from first hand experience, college is the time of our lives. The shit we get to experience is stuff we will talk about for the rest of our lives. Some of have already left the holy land of college and moved on and the lucky few are still living it up. While I already graduated, im lucky to still be in town so I get to live it up with the boys a little more still until we eventually step into the real world. My gradual step into this working world involves bartending dt for the time being (I know, my life is SOO hard). I pretty much get to do the same shit I did in college, minus the shitty stuff aka FINALS. This has also left me with tons of free time between shifts at the bar so for the past few months I have been helping out coaching lacrosse camps in Santa Barbara. I recently was lucky enough to score a job coaching a spring league in Goleta. After being out there and having the lacrosse stick back in my hand I started to realize another thing that I do truly miss. Playing lacrosse for UCSB took up a shit load of my time, but it was also super rad to be able to travel around the country and play.

As I sit here righting up the practice schedule for my team today I was stumbling through some vids that I thought were super sick and makes me wonder why lacrosse is not on espn more often. This year the UCSB team is traveling to Michigan to take on the #1 ranked team in the country. The one good thing about not being on the team this year is that I get to go to VEGAS so its bittersweet for me. Our mens lacrosse team just got ranked #9 in the country as well as Orlando and the rest of the SB ballers makin an appearance in the BiG DancE so big ups to UCSB sports over all!
