You might know Spike Jonze from "where the wild things are" Jackass 3d and the many many commercials you see on TV today. Jonze started many years ago making bmx films with his buddies and realized he had a talent. Heres the intro to the Lakai skate film titled 'Fully Flared' where he combines beautiful imagery, talented skating and special effects to create something like none else. This video is about a year old but i thought i'd share it with you all.

Heres an interview conducted by "the todays show" Matt Lauer with Kanye, in regards to President bush's recent response pertaining to the "george bush is a racist" comment. Kanye interrupts the interview seeming extremely aggravated with the production crew as well with Matt Lauer. Kanye Tweeted after this interview that Lauer forced him into answering questions the way Lauer wanted them answered amongst other acquisitions. Is Kanye too big?? WHo is CLay Marzo?

CLay Marzo is one of the most fascinating human beings on the planet in my honest opinion. Not only is Marzo one of the best surfers in the world, he also battles Aspergers which is a type of autism. His balance, style, power and ariel ability are like none other and is admired by the worlds best surfers. It seems Marzo is more comfortable in the water than out and provides a solid definition of "fish out of water." Marzo is extremely awkward in social settings and doesn't seem to harness the ability to communicate with others because of his disability but one could say that it is his disability that provides him with an ability to surf like a fucking freak. This kid is an inspiration. There is a full length feature titled "Just Add Water" documenting his life which is out in stores now and is amazing! Halloween has roots in the Celtic festival of Samhain and the Christian holiday All Saints' Day, but is today largely a secular celebration. No idea why its such a big deal in IV but it sure gives Race something to look forward too. Girls dancing around in vampire, spandex, pirate and SNM bondage attire has to put an odd smirk on young Engbars face :). I know lot's of you are going to raves this weekend so watch out for those HIV needle poking festival goers because they WILL be out in full force because in their twisted heads they are playing doctors for the night and are authorized to give shots to "patients. If you're going to one of the 2 raves in SO-cal this weekend you will be sure to see Gabe there, rolling balls and sucking on candy canes, so be on the look out for mr. Dutcher fist pumping to skull pounding beats!

Not too sure what they do at CU for this holiday max but i'm sure it is along the lines of protests against non organic candy and rape. I heard Mitro and emily are dressing up as point loma panthers; football player and cheerleader (SO CLICHE! FUCK MAN RIGHT)!

G.O.O.D Friday is a day late

Despite the initial announcement that Kanye West would pass on the highly popular G.O.O.D. Friday-series this week, he delivers yet another star-studded tune for the weekend. Titled “Christian Dior Denim Flow”, the track boasts guest appearances by KiD CuDi, Pusha T, John Legend and Lloyd Banks and Ryan Leslie. The vocals lack a bit but the beat is insane.

After hearing this Kanye track and a few prior I got to thinking... "Who the hell is making these beats and inspiring this new direction?" Instead of going down stairs to ask the beef or across the way to ask the kid who i think has the best musical style in IV (greg Pruett) I googled it. Ryan Leslie is an, artist/producer/entrepreneur and CEO of the NextSelection Lifestyle Group .Heres a few edits of Ryan Leslie, a producer mr. West has been working with. Super, Super talented doooood!

So today Leow, Der der, Race and I went on the Montecito hike that everyone has done a hundreds times but its the only hike we know of, plus Guzzo said Jordan Vander Sloot is rumored to have murdered a couple of broads up there..

Anyway, after we had been in cave mode for a couple days while the grinders grind, race purchased a new mac book and has been cruising 4chan, der der has been jumping on the new 31 tramp singing and flailing his arms in all sorts of directions i didn't think possible, and i have been editing my brains out for another matty matt promo we decided to get some fresh air and Vitamin D and hit the trails..

As we strolled along the trail at a brisk pace since Der der was bitching the whole time about getting to class on time (who woulda thought right?) we got to the infamous watering hole which is rumored to be the spot adams and Bri rode each other bare back on the lady bug breeding trees. All of a sudden Der Der decides to take off all his clothes and jump in the pond with ZERO shame, while there was atleast 4 snakes visible 2 feet in front of him. Can I hear a Land LOck!?!??!?!

VIVA LAS HAWAII! I need Rosetta Stone

usually when the Ciardello's go on vacation there is a lot of... well.. Relaxing. Not to say were lazy fat Americans, but my Dad drives an hour in to San Fran every day to bust his ass and likes nothing more than sitting on the beach reading books on his ipad and catching up on red sox nation emails. I was super super stoked to have Mitro and Duncs on the trip and have a real motivation to get out and explore a little. Walking with rocks on the ocean floor, swimming with turtles, hiking strenuous trails to hidden local beaches and getting a little faded at the bar with old wise men was a GREAT change of pace. Heres a little snippet of our amazing trip!

Can't wait to see all you Bros and hoes in IV so soon!! (heard there is quite the following of aphis and DG's on Hiplectic now)
