We all know what a DJ is but this guy is a VJ, a Video Jockey.  Pogo is famous for sampling Disney movies and making them into lovely/happy electronic songs.  I'm a sucker for chopped up vocals and this guy is the king.  You can download all of his Disney remixes for free HERE.  These are my two favorites.

Here's some summery vibes and NO YOUTUBE videos.  Ok just one but it's MINE. The Roundtable Knights are Swiss producers that blew up last summer with their remix of "Coma Cat".  This new remix of Beni's "It's A Bubble" lacks their signature steel drum riffs but makes up for it with a soft Sax melody and a perfectly unexpected piano build.  Not too mention the fabulous yet creepy dude talking about Street Walkers the whole time. Tech house does it's best impression of jazz.

Now I've been listening to Fred Falke remixes since high school and his allure has definitely faded for me over the years but this track's F and F factor drew me in.  Non stop melty synths and catchy carefree female vocals get me.  I also weirdly love how raw and unmastered it sounds.

Howzit.  I'm tan as fuck and gonna look like a leathery 60 year old when I'm 30 but for some reason I just can't quit the sun.  A new friend just recently commented that she doesn't do drugs cause she doesn't want to look old and "frumpy".  I simply replied, "Just wear sunblock and you can do all the drugs you want."  You can quote me.  I'm so surfed out and stoked it's ridic.  #frothing .  I wanted to give ya cunts a little surf video update and such.  I know watching surfing on film doesn't really do the trick for most of you but I've been blowing fatties to this new surf flick from Billabong titled "Blow Up" which you can download for free.  But if not the surfing, this 35 minute edit gave me one of my coveted "Summer Anthems".  Every single one of you will be singing along to this one..

Here She Is

I've been thinking on this tattoo for about 4 years now and it was worth the wait.  It started as the back of an old boat with the names "Elizabeth Marie" across the back.  Turned into and anchor with the same names underneath.  And finally arrived at the final design with Elizabeth curving across the top, Lee inside the cross bar of the anchor, and Marie straight across underneath.  On Wednesday morning I was sitting in my tower and took about two hours of my day to draw up exactly what I wanted on the back of a rescue card.  It was to scale and everything.  After work, I called up my dude, who I got in touch with through my the famous Joey Reyes, and asked if he was free.  I walked in and handed him my drawing, he tweaked the anchor a little bit for the better and so he could fit Lee in there too.  Forty-five minutes and 80 bucks later I walked out with exactly what I wanted.  I wanted the anchor and the text to be simple straight lines, I was going for the "Just got back from Nam.." look.  The text is exactly how I drew it, the anchor just has slightly bigger triangle tips and the addition of Lee in it.  It's imperfection gives it the uniqueness I was looking for. But now I have my whole family's middle names on me, Cheyenne Elizabeth, Lanny Lee, Lynn Marie, Chantelle Marie.  Kerry likes it.  I'll show you in person when I see ya.  Cheers!
