Its the return of the P.L.K.
When Duncan and I were younger we liked to try to pick out new artists who we thought were going to blow up. If you recall my Cudi Post the first guy Duncan chose gave up music and went the religious route, while I would like to think that my choice turned out to be rather successful. When the G-Unit crew was rolling, the most promising original member was Lloyd Banks. Blessed with an ability to spit some of the the dirtiest lyrics, a gangsta vibe, and 50 cent's blessing he was a star in the making. He quickly rose to stardom being crowned Mix-tape artist of the year and his first album, The Hunger For More, debuting at #1 and going over platinum. Unfortunately since then, at a commercial level, he has been at a steady decline. To prove all his doubters wrong, last year he decided to release a mix-tape series consisting of 5 mix-tapes of all new and original material. Last night he released the fifth installment titled V.5 . I think it is tied for the best mix-tape of the series along with the third installment, Cold Corner. As result I present you both mix-tapes, The Cold Corner & V.5. Here is my favorite song off each tape just so you can screen whether to download or not.
