I've been waiting.

Facebook is one of the most important factors in our society. We check out girls that we meet, chat with long distant friends, share our memories through pictures and videos, drunkenly post poke and message and update our "status's" on a regular basis. We all love facebook for various reasons, but here in IV we take our facebooking seriously. I am notoriously known for updating people's status's. I've had some fun with it i'm not gonna lie and i've definitely been on the receiving end (cough cough breyer). I've poked der der's past hook ups on his account changed mitro's status to Bay area references and even read through all of morgan and Gabes inboxes when he left his computer open. I kid I kid. But seriously, when someone fucks with you're facebook you get pissed. Why? I think it's because we are defining ourselves more and more through social networking outlets and we don't want to make bad impressions just as if in real life. Facebook is getting more serious. I knew someone was going to make a movie about the story of facebook in the future but I didn't know it was going to come this fast and I definitely didn't think it was going to look this artistic. If the film looks anything like this preview we are all in for a treat.

My buddy Doug showed me this a few months back with some doubts, however the trailer shows glimpses of what should be an interesting and relevant film. and if my word isnt good enough, just have faith in David Fincher who adds "The Social Network" to his list of stylized dramas, next to some of my favorites in, Se7en, Benjamin Button and Fight Club....Corner house movie night??
