#SWAGGGGGGGGGG

Fellow blaggggers how are we all??? Last night Duncan and I went out with our boy Derek and needless to say it was a fun night and was almost identical to the short story goose posted about (good looking.) Within the past two weeks here in the big CO it has been raining like crazy and by the end of the day you cannot do much because the weather just doesnt permit for you to do so, #IHATERAIN. Either way, after lounging and the pool for multiple hours with our boy Deezy we decided that we should BBQ and drink Rose because thats what the cool kids do, especially if you want to get ready for the FREAKnd, right Jimmers??????!!!!!!! Either way Dunc wanted to go out after but I was hesitant, I have LSAT shit to do and I had to work the next day (today), I did not want to go to crazy. Then, it started to rain and things really took a turn......
We no longer decided to BBQ but instead just get take out...Dunc got Thai that probably hurt when he threw-up last night....We still drank rose and after multiple glasses Dunc and our boy Derek convinced me that we have to go out in downtown because we havent gone DT since #thanksgiving #swag. That is when the Vodka was brought out and from then on I dont remember much of the evening other that when I woke up this morning at 10:00 I felt 100% and aside from the guilt of getting absolutely shitted I had a good feeling about the way things happened.
Now the true reason of this post is to give you my summer playlist. Straight unreal tunes that everyone will enjoy and honestly there are only two or three legit rap songs out of the 48. Guys I really hope you like them because I was really excited to post them and have been giving the DL link like damn candy.

Maybe 1 day

Fellow hiplectic followers!! How is everyone? Im sure everyone who is still in school is getting excited for the summer and some of you to graduate. Im really excited for everyone and happy. Its been a weird few days here in Boulder for me, I finished the year and am excited for the summer but all of my friends just graduated so needless to say I am in an awkward position with everything, friends, girls, and just life; it feels as though everyone is moving on and Im the only one stuck in the undergraduate college world. I hope all of you come out to Colorado sometime this summer, I know dunc and I would love to have you out here and shoot the shit, chase cutlets, and do all the other things that Colorado has to offer. Speaking of that, Dunc, I would pay an absurd amount of money to have you come back home as soon as possible. In other news, last night I went to a party with a bunch of venezuelans who were out of control and to top the night off I found my new favorite song. I wish I could find a download link but I couldnt so I just bought it off of iTunes. Either way the song is old so Im sure that many have heard it. Its unreal and is one of those songs that gives me goosebumps, so I hope you enjoy. the song is by Crystal fighters and is called champion sound...Also, dont worry it isnt rap.

Rubbin Dubbin in the Club

What it is what it do? How is everyone on this fine morning? I have no good stories today, other than check out the new statuson the book, the lyric is courtesy of a song Deezy gave to us and damn can we say that the like button got raped???? On another note, your guys' trip to Vegas looked unreal and I want to hear if there are any stories, Dunc doesnt seem to know how to call people back.
I have two songs for everyone any one has a little hipster rap feel to it. Here is the download link, I really enjoy it and I hope you guys like it. Its called Foreign Exchange Student.

The second song isnt new at all, but I am listening to it so though I would give it to you all. Just stay alive!

Its a GOOD FRIDAY

2010 has been a very amazing and special year to me. I have had the opportunity to meet incredible people, learn an incredible language, come back home, and finally to cap off 2010 I was able to kick it with 3 of the most influential members of Hiplectic. Now if I had to pick a favorite moment I dont think I could. I do however have a favorite week---La Feria de Abril in Sevilla, weekend----My first DiscoverSevilla weekend in Lagos, Portugal, favorite trip---Lisbon, Portugal and then Semana Santa with my family at the end of march, and finally my favorite night----the one I got to spend with all of my best friends two days ago. As I get older I need to start to realize all the amazing happenings that are taking place in my life and how a simple night can be the best night of the year. I am truly blessed with everything and for that I am forever thankful. I hope/pray that 2011 will be as great as my 2010.
My first wish is that I come out to SB and meet the rest of Hiplectic nation, get drunk, spit at bitches, and finally talk shit about the Lakeshow and the Chargers (sorry Loopy haha). Dunc and I were explaining to a friend of ours what is hiplectic and we couldnt come up with one tangible thing. To me hiplectic is something that I feel is an outlet of expression when normally the shit we post would just be kept to ourselves. I love all the posts whether they are Der Der's super electro songs, anything that Jimmy just comes across the web or his videos, the once in every two month post from Lando and Matt which happen to be of great quality and always a great read, Duncs always competing for a top 10 post, GP's posts even though Im still not sure what they mean or what they consist of, Clayton's artistic or update posts, and everyone else who contributes but that didnt mention. In short Hiplectic is all of us.
Finally, I wanted to post my favorite song of 2010 but it wouldnt be a new surprise as it was a tie and already mentioned in my goodbye post from Sevilla. Nonetheless, when Matt and Jimmy were out here I came to the conclusion that Kanye and Cudi had taken the same drugsand while Kayne had a great and amazing experience, Cudi had the bad trip and such is evident in his shitty music and the stroke of genius that hit Kanye. Before Kanye released his album he released a serious of songs on Friday's labeling Friday as G.O.O.D. Friday's . Some of the songs even made the album such as Monster, So Appalled, and Devil in a New Dress. To me however the best song coming from this series is also better than any song on the album. Today is a Friday and the day before the new year. I find it fitting that it is a Friday; with tomorrow comes a new weekend, a new year, and before college Fridays used to be the best days and nights and I pray that for all of us we can live tonight like that again. Remember folks, its a GOOD FRIDAY. Please be safe and have a wonderful New Years!

*sorry for the video, other the other qualities sucked so this is the only one I could get.

Take you higher

J. Cole is the best rapper in the game. I know for alot of you rap is not your genre of choice but if you do like rap you have to love this kid. I saw him in concert on Wednesday and it was pretty good. Im imagine some one walking onto the stage rapping, I left the city for a minute but it's still on my back Told my niggas, “Ay Im finna’ put the Ville on the map" - I'll be back And I'm coming with a deal and a plaque Cuz I'm ill bitch, they couldn’t make a pill for the rap Pouring liquor for my niggas that was killed, send em back Came home shit is real niggas still in the trap. Then the beat dropped. Though that was for sure the highlight of the concert, the crowd wasnt as into it, I for sure left with the greatest appreciation of his music. J. Cole is one of the few artists who can mix emotion, cockiness, lyrics, and a melody all into one song while remaining true to the essence of rap; he is the truth. Here is a link to his new mixtape, Friday Night Lights, one of the best mixtapes ever created and something that everyone would love, Allhiphop.com even gave it a 10/10 rating! Below is the song that he opened up with and it is without a doubt my favorite J.Cole song and todays song of the day.

My Euro Brother

Let me start off saying that I hate the LAKERS. I think they are an overrated championship team coupled with all the kids from SoCal who are bandwagon fans here at CU it makes me hate them even more.. Kobe is dirty but he is a bitch and if you dont agree there must be something wrong with you. I used to hate Pau but after this video I must say that he has turned into one of my favorite NBA players, after LeBron and Blake Griffin. It is a really cool story about him and what he is really like. I think you guys will find it entertaining. Last but not least, GO NUGGETS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Whole hood flamin and Im not talking Red Flags

So the other day I was fortunate to get Dunc and our good friend Erik up to come kick it in Boulder for the evening. Needless to say it was for sure the best night of my Boulder days and the first night that really helped me get over my depression of not being in Sevilla. We kicked it at my apartment invited some girls over and then hit the bars HARD. Duncan and I ended the night by cruising over to the Sig Alphs where I proceeded to tell people Duncan was an SAE out there in SB and then he began talking mad mad mad shit to one of the new brothers about he could spike on him in Volleyball. My money is on Deezy. We finished the night by everyone being pretty much uncomfortably intoxicated haha. Instead of sleeping with the one girl who came up with them or the girl who I would like to be sleeping with these days, I got the big giant right next to me haha. It was a great night to say the least.

p.s. Can someone help me how to upload files cause this download from youtube link is just okay

EXTRA EXTRA!!!NEW PHOTOS REVEAL ALL from scandalous night in boulder!!!

Rule #1 never make a rap nigga a friend, but I run up on a mother fucker rap nigga benz

So Guzzy's post got me thinking about things and how amazing this past year has been for me. I cannot agree more with him with the fact that we need to be aware of what goes on around us. I have 13 days left here in Europe and its quite amazing that my entire year is slowly coming to an end. I remember when I arrived in Sevilla earlier in the year without any knowledge of where that city would take me, the people who I would meet, or just in general the experiences that I would have. My god how I have changed in one year. I was fortunate to meet people who I would consider some of my best friends in the world, seen and lived in what I think is the most beautiful and most charming city in the world (for sure it has some of the sexiest girls in the world too; CALI girlies have nothing on the Sevillian beautiful babies, sorry boys). When I left that place it was one of the hardest things that I have ever done in my life. Im not a bitch but I cried like you guys wouldnt believe. My last two months there I would wake up at 9 30 am go to the gym to work till about 2, then go to my other job which was at a travel agency, then a nice little siesta followed by going out to the sickest discos I have ever been to in my life till 6-8 am ever morning, I would be lying if I didnt say it was heaven. More than anything though I fell in love with the language and after being with all of my spanish friends and then my Hungarian friends here in Hungary I truly realize the power that language holds and how I recommend all of you to try to pick up another language, it truly opens up parts of the world and allows you to meet incredible people. I guess what Im trying to saying whether we are here in Europe, CALI, Boston, Utah, NY, we all are living and experiencing incredible things and places. Remember everyone you meet and everything little thing that you go through. Try to strike up as many conversations as you can cause everyone has their own story and their own universe that one should try to enter; we can learn from everyone. The last thing that I have to say is always remember to THUG on them hoes. A couple of our members (you know who you are) have gone pretty soft with this girlfriend nonsense and as a result Jimmy I'm going to come out to SB to hang out with you and Arnau and the girls can call each of us MACavelli.

Now you know I cant leave a post without leaving some music for you all.

Sixth, I think we have easily the MIXTAPE of 2010 (atleast so far). Today The Game released Break lights which no lie has the lyrical content to be an album. This is for the heavy rap heads I think its dope as fuck so enjoy. Here is one of the stand out joints. Favorite lyrics : Yeah I slim but im not Shady, got cash money but Im not Baby, I will spazz and break your dreads, Im insane but Im not crazy, Im The Game but dont you play me or you'll get smashed with extra gravy.

Finally, since this is my year in Europe wrap-up I figure I have to give you my favorite song since Ive been over here. There were alot of contenders from Cudi to Drake to any of the numerous house songs. After heavy consideration it is a tie between Shakira Waka Waka (Spanish Version) and Stereo Love, both of which will forever bring me back to Sevilla and hold a special place in my heart.

I do what I do...

Guys its been a minute since I've posted anything relevant and for that I apologize. I am writing this blog in my new apartment here and Sevilla and its pretty chill. I was stressin for a little cause I didnt want to leave just yet and my parents were kind enough to allow me to stay for a month or so longer. Right now the rap game has been in a straight up. Aside from Drake (whose album is a complete flop from what I was waiting for on the music seen) and Eminem (whose album I am actually looking forward to) there is nothing really going on. As a result I have been hitting up this house radio station pretty hard called Flaix FM. Check it out cause I think you will like it. Anyway our boy cuddi dropped a new jam today and I think you guys will like it.
If you guys can hold on I have a really good post in my head and I need a couple of days to think it through.

Im Representing CALI

So not really too much going on within the world of VISKI. Just loving life here. We just got done with the biggest fair in Europe that takes place here in Sevilla and it was incredible! Everygirl was dressed in their Flamenco dressed and looked amazing! The week was nuts and everyday through sunday for a whole week I got home at an average of 5:00 am. You guys would be proud of the fact that I had a string of nights where I got home at 8, 8:30, and 8 am all consecutively. My game was looking good in fact the best it could have ever been cause Im working on a 32 year old Spanish broad haha. Anyways I have what I think is the best rap song of 2010 so far and it is a banger. Its from the big homie ICE CUBE who always delivers heat. ENJOY.

The Thuggets

So the other day I watched what I believe to be the single greatest play that this NBA season has produced and that I have ever seen in a basketball game. Just for a point of clarification, I am not including buzzer beaters or significance of the play, Im talking about straight up raw and unbelievable talent. Now I know that other than a couple of us, mostly everyone is from Cali and jocks the lakes pretty hard and sometimes rightfully so, but, The Nuggs are hands down the best dunking Squad on the planet. Before you start saying that Shannon Brown can dunk better than anyone else in the league (for sure not true) or that Lebron has the best dunks in the league, just take into account that the Denver Thuggets are the best dunking TEAM in the NBA. What other team has a collection of straight up athletes that the thuggs have? Due to this statement, I would like to show everyone what I believe are the three greatest dunks of the year and they all happen to come from the Nugs.

1. Carmelo on Paul Millsap

2. Ty On Dj:

3. This to me is without a doubt the best I have ever seen! JR Swish

Now that we saw those, I want to see what everyone else's favorite play is (this doesnt count playing with dunc and then when you block his shot he goes down on the ground cause he has a cramp). Here is a really good article about nugs dunking history.

The Newbies

So the other day XXLmag.com released who they thought were/are the top 10 new artists who are about to blow up in the world of rap and possibly beyond. Though I would love to go through and talk about each and everyone of the guys, I think it would get to be a little boring. As a result I will go through a couple of my favorites, BIG SEAN and Freddie Gibbs. Though there are no Drake's, Cudi's, B.o.B.'s, or Asher's its a solid list, a group that I hope will do well! Deezy I would put up download links but I dont know how to, can you hit me up as well as the rest of the crew??

1. First we have my man Freddie Gibbs. Freddie is from Gary, Indiana and my favorite on the list. It is no secret that I love gangsta rap and Freddie is no exception, but instead of being a retard off the block he is a brilliant mind and actually can spit that raw shit and though he may be from Indiana dont sleep on him. Check out his story here. He is truly just a raw artist who happens to be extremely talented. Unfortunately I dont see him making a huge splash on a mainstream level but in Hip Hop circles this man has to be respected. In my opinion he is a mix of dare I say 'Pac with his ruggedness and Joell Ortiz with his word play. Here are three songs by my man so you can check out his skills.

2. The next guy is BIG Sean. I posted his freestyle the other day and I hoped you liked it. He is different from Freddie in that he is not as raw nor as gangsta but damn is he skilled. He has a laid back flow but with incredibly clever word play. He has a confidence/arrogance on the mic similar to that as Drake and I really think he can make a splash. He has the ability to create good songs with good chorus' too which we all know is the most important part of making it on the radio (aside from AMILLI). He is signed to G.O.O.D. music and truth be told with the hottest producer in the planet (kayne) backing him I dont know how this kid can lose. Here are a couple of his gems off UKNOWBIGSEAN.

Oh David

Here is a little something I came across the other day while I was in Valencia, just though you guys would appreciate this. I have some more posts coming so sit back and hopefully enjoy!

Good Bye Frank

Today gentleman I took part in what some would call a traditional right of passage for Spanish men, a Matanza! A Matanza in English is known as a traditional pig slaughter, in when the pueblo gets together to have a party and kill a pig. All the year long students were invited and needless to say I was extremely excited. It was a great experience and something that is really cultural and unique to the Spanish. I met some chill people who spoke to me and told me about what the reasoning behind it is and everything. As a result I have some photos and a video, it gets a little gruesome so if you are squeamish I suggest not looking. As bad as it sounds and looks it is rather humane and not that bad!

Its the return of the P.L.K.

When Duncan and I were younger we liked to try to pick out new artists who we thought were going to blow up. If you recall my Cudi Post the first guy Duncan chose gave up music and went the religious route, while I would like to think that my choice turned out to be rather successful. When the G-Unit crew was rolling, the most promising original member was Lloyd Banks. Blessed with an ability to spit some of the the dirtiest lyrics, a gangsta vibe, and 50 cent's blessing he was a star in the making. He quickly rose to stardom being crowned Mix-tape artist of the year and his first album, The Hunger For More, debuting at #1 and going over platinum. Unfortunately since then, at a commercial level, he has been at a steady decline. To prove all his doubters wrong, last year he decided to release a mix-tape series consisting of 5 mix-tapes of all new and original material. Last night he released the fifth installment titled V.5 . I think it is tied for the best mix-tape of the series along with the third installment, Cold Corner. As result I present you both mix-tapes, The Cold Corner & V.5. Here is my favorite song off each tape just so you can screen whether to download or not.

Quotable -"I’ve been waiting, I’m impatient/would’ve flipped if I wasn’t cakin’/I’m a long way out of that basement/and that hallway’s hotter than Satan/I ain’t for a lot of debatin’/I’ma call out and replace him/I’ma ballout and disgrace him/in a mall out on vacation/I’m against whatever’s against a G/this bitch industry ain’t meant for me/it’s full of girls and punk niggas/that right there ain’t the way to be...”- Be that Way Sometimes

Bam, Snacks on Snacks

So today I was supposed to go to NYC and spend a day there and see everything. Unfortunately, there was crazy fog in Sevilla this morning so they cancelled my first flight so I missed my flight from Madrid to NYC. Thus, I am chilling in a Hotel room in Madrid with a flight to Boston then Denver tomorrow. Anyways, the past day or two Weezy F. Baby released a track with Eminem. I wanted to post earlier but I had to wait for the download link. Normally, I think Weezy is the most overrated rapper and I think his rock phase is weird but I can actually respect his stuff on this song. I dont really need to say anything about Eminem other than he rips Weezy a new ass hole. Enjoy!

Hey hey crazy, quieres foyar?

*I recommend looking at all of the links

This post doesnt involve new music or new stories coming from this side of the world. The semester is shortly winding down and I am happy to say that I am coming home, god willing, on friday! This semester has been crazy for me as I have received the chance to experience a new culture and language. My quest to become fluent is coming along slowly, nonetheless it is still coming along. I have met new people here who I truly enjoy spending time with and will forever hold a place in my heart as being the people who I experienced so many new things with. Though I am fortunate to come back next here (Sevilla) next semester there will never be again a first time. As you all know I am a pretty big hip hop head. I like everything from the mainstream radio to the underground (not the type which no-one knows about, I mean the real mixtape stuff they have all over the streets). I try to stay up on the newest rap possible especially gangsta rap. This however has been rather difficult while being abroad but I make it work. XXLmag.com has been doing a article all week on the decade of hip hop. I can honestly say that my favorite years were (suprise, suprise) when 50 came out and GUnit had its biggest buzz (2002-2005). Since then the rap scene has been okay but nothing too special, especially as of late. Though there have been some good albums nothing has really stuck out. That all changed last year when Mr. Cudders himself appeared with a Kid Named Cudi. I must admit that Dunc was the first person to really tell me that this cat was good and that I should pay attention. I must say that I was skeptical however, I wasnt feeling Day N Night and the last person Duncan vouched for left the game after a religious calling. After listening to the mixtape I was convinced, this guy is going to change the game. Since being in Spain, I have done my share of downloading and listening to music. And I am convinced that Kid Cudi, not Drake, is the best thing to happen to the genre since mister 5-0 dropped Get Rich or Die Tryin' . I know Im not stating any new facts because we all love mr cudders but really take a second and listen to what unbeleiveable music this man makes.
I was inspired to write about this after Jimms' post of the Pursuit of Happiness video and after Mitro's post on individuality. In a genre where it is looked down upon to admit at ones faults (see 50, kayne, Drake-Weezy, Raewkon) Cudi has continued to show us that he is human (Aside from this nasty freestyle). He is accepted amongst the rap community (my man 50 invited him to the thisis50 fest), which is truly amazing. Cudi is everything I love about music; rap with a melodic flow, singing, truly incredible beats, and amazing shows (look at around 50 seconds). He has provided me with memories to last a life time here in Spain. I guess I truly love his music because when I first came to Spain everything was new and nothing was familiar; the people, the language, the bitches, etc. and at this time the rap business was struggling to put out good music. Then Man On the Moon came out and I fell in love with the genre one more time! Maybe Im just jockin real hard, but to be honest I dont really care. I think what makes him so much better is because I have a group of people who truly respect his music too. Its crazy how music brings us together, especially when we have so many different tastes. Though I am thousands of miles away this blog always brings me closer to what is going on within your worlds and cudders just enhances that feeling. If I had it my way Cuds would win every grammy he was nominated for! Anyways he has provided me with the soundtrack 2 my life (atleast for this semester) and as a result I want to leave you all with my favorite song of 2009.

The Dance Floor

Why do women go crazy on the dance floor? Being in a Fraternity I have seen the effects that alcohol and music have on women. The reason I bring this up brings me to this previous Wednesday evening. Some fellow Americans and I proceeded to drink heavily, you know chug a bottle by yourself kind of heavily and anyways we end up at some crazy club called Abril. Im pretty intoxicated at this point and I cant help but to want to find a bad bitch this evening; luckily enough I found two. As my game was running its course I could help notice how these bitches wanted ya boy. I pushed my Hungarian/Euro card pretty hard needless to say and before you know it im hooking up with one of the dance floor. I get pretty horny while dancing and apparently so does she, thus, leading to me doing some pretty nasty things on the d-floor which ultimately led to a hand-job almost as good as the one I can give my-self (I didnt know these things existed.) Fortunately the other girl didn't see these events transpire. Later on I dismissed the first girl because she was worth nothing anyways, and the other girl and I start hooking up on the dance-floor, while telling me how well I can move my hips and one thing leads to another and before you know it my d is in her mouth. The main point is that the attraction started on the dance-floor. Needless to say I wasnt the only one getting nasty, people where boning in the curtains on the step of the dance-floor. Why is does music allow girls to do these things? Why cant we meet a freak in the super market while shopping for apples? Why does every girl turn into a little whore while dancing? I know we have all experienced it. Exhibit A:Our Boy Dunc:
Exhibit B : Me

Even the African Prince gets wild Why Do women get so Crazy? I have a theory, first of all its hard to turn down something like this and second I believe music is a natural panty dropper, especially when mixed with alcohol. I mean comon who doesnt want to dance to this

Music allows us to move our hips in naturally sexy ways and when combined with bitches who really just want to bone, it ends up bringing that out that nasty side of them. The dance floor is the best way to make sure your girl is a freak too; a Pre-Test to see what the girl is really like. Personally I feel like it is our duty to encourage these women to be nasty on the dance floor, it would be selfish of us to hold back. What are everyone else's thoughts? Here is one final picture of a soldier of ours knowing he's about to get some tonight because of dancing that has just taken place...That is the reason for the stern look
